Job Marketplace
The Job Marketplace is the platform where all pilots, regardless of their affiliation with companies, can find the flights they wish to fly. You can locate it on the left navigation bar. Clicking it will lead to one of two actions:
Present you with a list of contracts to show jobs for- only if you have >5 active contracts
Show you the job selection screen
If you see Option 1, please select one or several contracts, with a maximum of up to 5, to display job listings. You will then the main Job Marketplace screen.
On this screen, you can utilize the filters in the top left to narrow down various routes. You can also use the mouse to pan and zoom on the map to select a job. Clicking on any job in the left dock or on the map screen will display the aircraft selection screen.
Jobs not showing
If you believe that a job should be displayed but it isn't, it may be due to several reasons: there may be no available aircraft, the job may not meet the route minimums for flight, the slot for that route might be blocked by another aircraft, or all of these factors could be affecting its visibility. Once these issues are addressed, the route will reappear.
Aircraft Selection
After clicking a job the aircraft selection screen will appear. This dialog box allows you to choose any aircraft that could do the route based on it's minimums. It does not filter by range so be careful to select an aircraft that can do that route, otherwise you will need to do stopovers.
If you are a company owner or your Rank settings allow you to relocate aircraft, you will see aircraft that can be relocated to perform that route. If you do not have those permissions, you will only see aircraft at the departure airport. You can click the row with the aircraft to select it, and a confirmation box will appear in the bottom left of the screen. Additionally, you can press the preview button on any aircraft row to see how many passengers will board that flight and where they will sit on the aircraft. This is useful for ensuring there are enough passengers to make the route worthwhile for the company you are flying for.
Once you have selected your job and aircraft and confirmed the job in the confirmation box, the aircraft will run through the boarding procedure. For complex jobs with many passengers and a lot of onward travel, this process can take some time. Once it is completed, the screen will refresh and direct you to the Flight Board, where your job will be displayed.
