Overview
Most of your time with the FSCharter plugin will be spent using two key windows: the Job window and the Settings window. The plugin also provides several common interface features and menu entries for both the SimConnect and X-Plane versions.
Job Window
The Job window displays your current job, flight state, and next required actions.
It serves as your primary interface throughout a flight, from preparation to disembarkation.
For detailed guidance on using this window, see the Job Flow page.
Settings Window
The Settings window is where you sign in with your FSCharter account, configure general preferences, and adjust aircraft-specific behaviour.
For more detailed explanations of each setting, see the Settings page.
General Interface Features
The plugin follows a consistent interface design to make controls easy to understand and use.
Tooltips: Hover over any control to see a short explanation of what it does.
Disabled buttons: When a button is greyed out, hover over it to learn why it is currently unavailable.
Collapsible sections: Click the triangle indicators to expand or collapse sections, helping you keep the interface tidy.
Context-sensitive help: Click the question mark icon in any window to open relevant documentation.
Settings access: The gear icon in a window’s title bar opens the UI settings menu.
Pop-out windows (X-Plane only): Use the Pop out button to open a window as an independent operating-system window.
