Switching Between Ranks

If you've been approved for multiple ranks at a company, you can switch between them freely from your Career Progression view in the Pilot Portal.

Rank Status Badges:

• Current (green) - Your active rank

• Pending (yellow) - You have a pending application for this rank

• Pre-Approved (green with check) - You've been approved for this rank previously and can switch to it instantly

• Unlocked (blue) - You've met progression requirements

• Auto-Accept (blue) - You meet requirements and can join instantly

• Can Apply (blue) - You're eligible to apply but need manager approval

• Locked (dark) - You need more hours at prerequisite ranks

To switch to a pre-approved rank:

1. Open your Career Progression view for the company

2. Click on any rank showing "Pre-Approved"

3. Click Switch to this Rank (Pre-Approved)

4. You'll immediately switch - no waiting for approval

Why "Pre-Approved"?

This badge appears on ranks you've been approved for in the past. The company remembers your approval history, so you don't need to re-apply when switching between ranks you've already been accepted to.

If a company manager revokes your approval for a rank, you'll need to apply again to access it.
